Pwllheli is the main shopping central and the "capital" of the wonderfully scenic Lleyn Peninsula. The town is home to the renowned Hafan yachting marina, two beaches, 18 hole golf course, Canolfan Hamdden Dwyfor leisure centre, weekly outdoor market- the largest in Wales, kiddies funfair and more. There are ample, varied restaurants in the town with many of the pubs and cafes offering family-friendly menus. Pwllheli is also the terminus of the Cambrian Coast railway line.
